The latest news from the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) released its new tire identification code 2014 added 44 more than in 2013 doubled. Of which China accounted for 32, while Shandong Province accounted for 18, four factories in Russia.
The current DOT data covering 362 Chinese tire factories, of which about 24 points to the same plant, and there are 36 non-Chinese to hold the plant operations.
The world's leading tire manufacturer Goodyear, Hankook Tire Co. and Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. is a new release of the factory code.
What is DOT?
"DOT" indicates that the tires meet the safety standards of the US Department of Transportation (US Department of Transportation, DOT) regulations. "DOT" immediately behind the 11 numbers and letters indicate the tire identification number or serial number. DOT is divided into three ABC, where C-level minimum standard minimum performance conditions only reached US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
