Why is it always recommended that forklift trucks should be replaced with solid tires?

The forklifts we see now are basically equipped with solid tires, and there have been other internal combustion forklifts that used pneumatic tires. Why is it recommended to replace all pneumatic tires with solid tires? Mainly because of the following four aspects:

  1. Excellent safe use performance is conducive to improving work efficiency
Because the solid tire carcass is made of all rubber, the tire’s puncture resistance is ensured to the greatest extent, and the hidden danger of tire puncture during the load-bearing operation of industrial vehicles and in harsh operating environments is fundamentally eliminated. Fork solid tires have small load-deformation and good running stability. Because of their puncture resistance and tear resistance, they do not need to be inflated, which avoids the heavy labor of frequent tire repairs and tire changes. In efficient operation of vehicles, solid forklift tires can completely replace pneumatic tires.
  2. Reasonable structural design to ensure that the tire has better performance
The solid tire adopts an advanced three-stage structure design, and the three rubber materials respectively ensure the overall performance of the tire. High-rigidity, high-strength base rubber and steel ring support not only ensure the stiffness of the tire, but also ensure the tightness of the tire and the rim, and fundamentally eliminate the slip ring problem of solid tires; the highly elastic intermediate rubber effectively It absorbs the vibration generated when the vehicle is running, has a comfortable driving performance, and avoids damage to the vehicle at the same time; the thicker tread layer ensures the tear and wear resistance of the tire and improves the service life of the solid tire.

  1. Guarantee of advanced technology and formula design
The production of solid tires for forklift trucks has more than half a century of production history and advanced experience and technology. The rubber formula design has maximized the performance of the tires, especially the base rubber is all imported from abroad with high rigidity and low heat generation. The heat and temperature generated by the tire during operation are reduced to a minimum, while the heat resistance of the tire is improved, thereby solving the serious problems of swelling, slipping, and bursting caused by the temperature rise of solid tires; advanced design also reduces The rolling resistance of the tire. Tested by China Construction Machinery Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the coefficient of rolling resistance of solid tires is equivalent to that of pneumatic tires, which solves the problem of increased energy consumption caused by changing to solid tires.
  2. Avoid vehicle tire blowouts and out-of-control dangers, and promote safe production
When the vehicle is driving at high speed, such as the tire hitting potholes and other obstacles, the tire will be severely squeezed and deformed between the obstacle and the rim flange, which can cause the carcass cord to break. The compressed air inside the tire will break from the wire. Push up everywhere to form a bulge. If it is more serious, it will cause the tire to rupture, and it will be completely flattened instantly and the vehicle may lose control. Compared with pneumatic tires, solid tires have the advantages of high safety, puncture resistance, tear resistance, wear resistance and long life. They are ideal replacement products for pneumatic tires in the field of industrial vehicles.
Tires are an important component of forklifts and play a vital role in the safety performance of forklifts. Check before each shift. Forklift rubber thickness is less than 2.5 cm, or if it is damaged, it needs to be replaced in time.
